Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or booking a job with Squared Away Handyman LLC ("Squared Away Handyman", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What we do

Squared Away Handyman provides handyman services booked directly through this site. Booking a service through the site is a request — a job is only confirmed once we accept it.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide (contact details, job address, etc.). Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

By providing a phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Squared Away Handyman about your booking — confirmations, appointment reminders, messages from us, and a request for a review after a completed job. These are informational, not marketing. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts.

4. Pricing & payment

Prices shown at booking are estimates; the final price may be adjusted if the scope of a job changes, which we'll communicate to you directly. Payments are processed securely through Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. A deposit may be required to confirm a booking, with the balance due on completion.

5. Cancellations & rescheduling

You can reschedule or cancel a confirmed booking at no cost with at least 24 hours' notice — message us on your booking and we'll find a new time or refund your deposit. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours' notice forfeit the deposit paid to confirm the booking.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use the site for anything unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent, and don't attempt to interfere with its normal operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Squared Away Handyman LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
