Information we collect
When you create an account or book a job, we collect your name, email, phone number, job address, and any notes, messages, or photos you send us. If you pay online, payment is handled directly by Stripe — we receive confirmation that you paid, never your full card number.
How we use it
To schedule and complete jobs, communicate with you about bookings (including by text message, if you provide a phone number), process payments, and keep basic records for our own accounting. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Text messages
If we have your phone number, we may text you about a booking you've made — confirmations, appointment reminders, messages from us, and a request for a review after a completed job. These are informational, not marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or let us know another way.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that make the site work — our payment processor (Stripe), hosting and database providers, our file storage provider (for photos you send us), and, if you receive email or text messages from us, our email and text delivery providers. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone else.
Cookies & local storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. That's it — no advertising trackers.
Your choices
You can update your account details anytime from your account page. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, contact us through the messaging feature on an active booking, or your usual contact for Squared Away Handyman.
Children
This site isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision.
